Legal Services
We are not a solicitor’s practice. We do not provide any legal advice. We carefully select solicitors to join our panel whom we believe have the accreditations and/or, expertise, reputation, and customer service record to allow us to provide an introductory service.
We provide an independent online service which enables you to research and compare conveyancing services provided by third parties whilst using this website. Our comparison service is free for you to use. We receive a fee and/or commission from the third-party product or service providers when you use our service to obtain quotes for these products and services.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) permits solicitors to make agreements with their introducing sources for referral work.
We will charge the solicitor a fee only if your conveyancing transaction is successful.
Conveyancing fees quoted are based on a) the information you input and b) the information the solicitor has provided us with. Any inaccuracy in securing a quote and a later fee being charged is a result of either a) misinformation at the start and/or b) the solicitors not providing us with the up to date pricing as they are legally responsible to do so under the terms of our agreement with them.
Our aim is that full quotes are supplied with no hidden charges but this is out of our hands and therefore we are not responsible for any change in price once a quote has been generated to the point where you speak with the solicitors and proceed. In addition, some charges can only be considered by the firm during the transaction if there is a change in circumstances which produces an unavoidable cost. This would be notified to you first and discussed by the solicitor if or when the appropriate time arises.
Please be aware that nothing on this website is, or shall be deemed to constitute, an offer by us or the solicitors to enter into any contract with you in respect of any service. By submitting your details, you are making a request to obtain the relevant service from the relevant solicitor on its terms and conditions that will be provided separately and may be accepted or rejected. The contract for the service will only be concluded once your offer has been accepted.
We have selected a panel of highly recommended solicitors specialising in conveyancing (legal work associated with buying or selling a property, transfer of equity, remortgage, commercial property and buy to let).
We may use your personal information to contact you or pass your details to solicitors associated with us, to contact you (including by telephone) to provide you with details and services in relation to any enquiry you make to us.
Conveyancing costs vary depending on the price of the property and the solicitor involved.
Our solicitors have committed to providing a no hidden charges full quote with a breakdown of all fees, however, some fees can arise due to changes in circumstances during the transaction which would be unknown at the point of providing a quote – e.g. due to new evidence/information coming to light after a search or survey.
Our Solicitors practicing in England & Wales are required to comply with Chapter 9 of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“SRA”) Handbook ‘Fee Sharing and Referrals’. Any solicitor we refer you to is an independent professional from whom you will receive impartial and confidential advice. You are of course free to choose another solicitor. We may receive payment from third parties (including solicitors) for passing on your details.
Your personal information will be used and held in accordance with our privacy policy. All our solicitors have signed agreements with us confirming their commitment to our service level agreement (SLA).
We are not involved in the discussions you have with the solicitor. We will contact you for feedback on how maters progressed, and of course, if there are any issues we would encourage you to get in touch with us. However, once we have introduced you to the solicitor we are not responsible for the services provided by them. They have their own service terms and professional indemnity insurance in place. We therefore have no liability relating to your experiences with the solicitors. To be clear, our service is free for you to use. We receive commission and/or fees from solicitors who we refer you to.
Separate terms and conditions apply to the benefits offered via My Legal Club and Online Discount Club membership which will be made available to you at the time any such offer is made. The benefits associated with these memberships are subject to change. The memberships are only available at our discretion. Our intention is that clients who have signed up with one of our panel solicitors having been introduced to that solicitor directly via ourselves where there has been no circumvention or change to our involvement will receive the free benefits advertised. Many of these benefits are provided by third parties and no liability, loss, damage, expectation, reliance should be placed upon us as a result of any benefit not being available.
